Ottawa East · Open 7 days, 7 AM to 11 PM
Fridges, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washers and dryers, repaired in your home. We work the east end every day, so a call from Vanier, Overbrook or Lowertown usually gets a slot the same day rather than next week.
Name, number and what the appliance is doing. We call back and give you a window.

Our Services
Vanier is mostly older housing stock, semis, walk-ups and converted duplexes, which shapes the work. Tight laundry closets, long vent runs, and appliances squeezed into kitchens they were never designed for. That is the job here, and we are set up for it.
Milk turning before its date, a freezer growing frost faster than you can chip it off, or a motor that runs all day and never gets the shelves cold.
Book Repair →
A drum that fills and then sits there, water left behind after the spin, a machine walking itself out of a narrow closet, or a door that stays locked.
Book Repair →
Two or three cycles for one load, a drum that will not turn, or no heat at all. In older east-end houses the vent run is the culprit more often than the dryer is.
Book Repair →
An inch of water in the bottom every morning, a cycle that gives up halfway, a door that no longer seals, or plates coming out needing a second wash by hand.
Book Repair →
A burner that will not light, an element stuck on high whatever you do with the dial, or a glass top that cuts out as soon as a full pot goes on it.
Book Repair →
Roasts taking half an hour longer than they should, a door that no longer shuts square, an oven that never reaches the number on the dial, or a dead display.
Book Repair →Service Area
Vanier is the middle of our east-end route, so everything around it is a short drive rather than a trip across town. That is the whole reason a morning call here usually turns into an afternoon visit.
Just outside that list? Call anyway. We also run the south end from Barrhaven and Riverside South, and between the two routes we reach most of Ottawa.

Dryer died on a Sunday with two kids' worth of laundry waiting. Somebody actually answered the phone, and it was running again by that evening. I had assumed nobody worked weekends.
Our laundry is jammed into a closet you can barely stand in. He got the washer out, fixed it and put everything back without a scratch on the door frame. That is harder than it sounds.
Quoted me over the phone, turned up in the window, and the bill was the number he gave me. After the last company I used, I had genuinely stopped expecting that.
Questions
Most days, yes. We work the east end every day of the week from 7 AM to 11 PM, so a morning call from Vanier usually gets an afternoon slot. Call rather than fill in the form if the appliance is leaking or the fridge is full of food, and we will tell you straight away what is free.
There is a flat diagnostic fee, and you are told that number on the phone before anyone sets off. Once the technician has found the fault you get the repair price in writing, and nothing is opened up until you say go ahead. If you decide not to proceed, you pay the diagnostic and that is the end of it.
Vanier itself, plus Overbrook, Manor Park, New Edinburgh, Lowertown, Sandy Hill and Rockcliffe Park. If you are just outside that ring, call anyway. We also cover Barrhaven and Riverside South in the south end, and between the two we reach most of the city.
Often, and you can improve the odds. Tell us the brand, roughly how old the machine is, and any code on the display when you book. Common parts for Samsung, LG, Bosch, GE and KitchenAid travel with the technician. Anything model-specific gets ordered in, and we tell you the cost before we order it.
We tell you, and we tell you why. If a part costs more than half the price of a new machine, that is usually the line. You pay the diagnostic, we explain what to look for in a replacement, and nobody tries to sell you a repair that will not last the year.
Ninety days on the part we fit and on the work itself. If the same fault comes back inside that window we return at no charge, with no diagnostic fee. The full terms, including what is not covered, are on our warranty page.
Yes, an adult needs to be there for the whole visit, since you have to approve the quote before work starts. Clearing the space in front of the appliance beforehand genuinely speeds things up, particularly in the narrow laundry closets common around here.
Seven days a week, 7 AM to 11 PM. Flat diagnostic, written quote, 90 days on the repair.
